Dior’s latest fragrance product is…a cap?
A rather dazzling piece of news that recently flew by is Dior’s Sauvage Wild Woods. Definitely a title that instantly drew interest in many upon reading “Wild Woods”, until they realise that it’s actually a customisable wooden cap. This is presumably for Dior’s Sauvage Elixir as it was not featured on other Sauvage flankers. They even made a video specifically for this occasion:
Customers have a choice between two types of woods namely Congolese Ebony or Cameroonian Wenge. The former is said to be the darkest natural wood that is hard to produce and work with. Meanwhile the latter is said to be an extremely rare precious wood that is slightly red in colouration. The cap seems to be individually hand made and even has the trademark CD logo (in metal) embedded into the wood.
The official information is quite limited (and actually quite hard) to find on the official website. It is not known whether you have to pay additional for the cap but it’s safe to assume so. For now, it seems to only be available in Dior boutiques which you can find here.
