One of the biggest surprises for me last year was Versace Dylan Blue; an impromptu purchase when I found the last 50ml gift box tucked away in an obscure shelf at a local Shins store for RM200 (USD50).
It’ starts off with a delicious yet tart citrus blast with underlying aquatic notes. Soon after you get a little bit of powdery-ness moving in with a slight herbal note which I gather may come from the Patchouli and Papyrus. All of this is rounded out nicely with the incense in the base.
Versatile yet a slightly mature scent that would please many. Performance is great to boot with a skin scent still present after 12 hours. This deep & dark blue fragrance is personally my top pick for the best fragrance I had the pleasure of picking up in 2020.
